Talking Hands
Use a soft measuring tape. A strip of paper also works — mark it and measure against a ruler.
Position the tape just above your eyebrows, above your ears, and around the widest part of the back of your head.
Keep the tape snug but not tight. Note the measurement in centimetres and enter it above.
Crochet stretches. Our pieces are crafted with natural ease built in. If you're between sizes, size up for a relaxed, slouchy look — or size down for a classic snug fit. Custom sizing is also available on select products.
01 / The Brand
Talking Hands is a Nigerian handcrafted crochet brand built for the bold generation. Every piece is a statement. Every stitch, a signature. We don't make quiet clothes.

02 / The Process
No machines. No shortcuts. Every Talking Hands piece is made entirely by hand — looped, pulled, and finished stitch by stitch.
The process is slow by design. A single top can take 6–12 hours to complete. That time shows — in the drape, the weight, the texture you feel when you wear it.
Each piece is unique. Minor variations aren't flaws — they're proof that a human made this, not a factory.
03 / Community
Talking Hands is built on community. The makers, the wearers, the ones who choose to be loud when the world tells them to be quiet. We're not just selling clothes — we're building a movement, woven stitch by stitch right here in Lagos.
