Domestic orders (within Nigeria) are dispatched within 2–3 business days and typically arrive within 3–5 business days after dispatch. We deliver nationwide — Lagos, Abuja, Port Harcourt, Benin City, Warri, Asaba, Ibadan, and beyond. Lagos orders are often faster — 1–2 days. International shipping is currently available to select countries; delivery takes 7–14 business days depending on your location. You'll receive a tracking link as soon as your order ships.

We accept returns within 7 days of delivery for items that are unworn, unwashed, and in their original condition with tags attached. Because every piece is handmade to order or in very limited quantities, we cannot offer exchanges for size — please refer to our size guide before purchasing. To initiate a return, email hello@talkinghands.ng with your order number.

Each product page includes a detailed size guide with chest, waist, and length measurements. Crochet has natural stretch — most pieces will adapt slightly to your body. When in doubt, size up for a more relaxed fit or reach out to us and we'll advise based on the specific piece. Our garments are designed with a comfortable, slightly oversized silhouette in mind.

Yes — we take a limited number of custom commissions each season. Custom orders allow you to specify colour, length, and certain design details. Lead time is typically 3–5 weeks depending on complexity. Custom pieces are non-refundable once production begins. To enquire, email hello@talkinghands.ng with "CUSTOM ORDER" in the subject line and a description of what you have in mind.

All Talking Hands pieces should be hand washed in cool water with a gentle detergent, then laid flat to dry. Never machine wash, tumble dry, or iron directly. We include a care card with every order, and our full Care Guide is available on the website. Each garment also ships with a small length of matching yarn for any future repairs.

We work exclusively with natural cotton yarn — no synthetics, no acrylics. Cotton is breathable, hypoallergenic, and biodegradable. We source in small batches and don't use any post-production chemical treatments. The feel you notice when you first open your package — that's entirely natural.

We accept all major debit and credit cards (Visa, Mastercard, Verve) as well as bank transfers via Paystack. All transactions are processed securely — we never store your card details. For international orders, card payments are accepted in USD and GBP in addition to NGN.

Yes. At checkout, select "This is a gift" to receive your order in our signature gift packaging — a kraft paper box, tissue wrap, a Talking Hands ribbon, and a blank card for your personal message. Gift wrapping is available at no extra charge. We can also ship directly to the recipient if you add their address at checkout.
